WEEK 28 Mission Magic

Happy pday and memorial day to all my favorite people!!  Okay first of all...where is the time going?! I'm pretty sure January just started and now it's almost June... I seriously can't believe how fast time is flying bye! Second, how is everyone doing?! I hope everyone is starting the summer off right! Be sure to jump in the pool and play in the sand for me;)  This week we were able to cut back our time in the office and work a bit more in our area! Sister Murdoch and I made it a goal to get ahead with filming and content creation so that we can spend more time finding and interacting with the ward this transfer! The Lord has provided a way for us to be almost fully planned out for the transfer! It was the BEST thing ever! I absolutely love people and thrive off of relationships! Something about being with people rather than on a computer all week just had me smiling! Don't get me wrong I love FHAM and the opportunities I get to have! But my drive to keep going everyda...

WEEK 26 & 27 Trials Of Faith And Octopus Tentacles

Hello hello beautiful family and friends!!! I hope that everyone is doing great! It's been a couple weeks but I'll give everyone the low down and catch yall up to speed! We started a new transfer last week! I'm in my 5th transfer and shocker me and Murry are staying together ahah! This is my 4th out of 5 transfers with her! I think God knows we have a lot to learn from each other!   Two week ago we had Elder Pingree of the seventy come and visit our mission! It was such an amazing and uplifting experience! He got all of us missionaries fired up to keep finding God's children! If you haven't heard his talk you should go listen to it!("I Have a Work for Thee",  I Highly recommend it:)  This week was the most stressful week of my life! But it was the best thing that could have happened to me!  Sister Murdoch and I taught Sunday school for the adults and gave a presentation on Social media and how members can be involved in missionary work though social media!...

6 MONTHS?!

Hey hey ya'll! Happy late Mothers Day to all the beautiful and loving mothers in my life.♡ I don't really have much to say about this week, not much happened. Except I did drive the wrong way down a one way street. Could have killed us, but don't worry! We're still alive, and now that just adds one more exciting experience to my collection of mission memories. This week consisted of quite a few hours in the office playing catch up because of our traveling last week! I had exchanges this week with Sister Higgins! Exchanges in FHAM don't really feel like exchanges! We got to the office and sat at our same desk and did the same thing with the same people. The only difference is the couple hours at night, which was full of laughs, lots of talking and memories made! Yesterday for Mothers day we delivered cookies to some of the windows in our area and visited with them.  6 months as a missionary! Can you believe it? Time is going wayyy too fast! I am so grateful for the m...

WEEK 24 Cruising The Coast

Wowza...what a week!  If I'm being real with yall it was a harder week. I absolutely love being a missionary, I love Oregon but missions truly turn you inside out and flip everything upside down! While it was a hard week it was also a great week! It was a busy, full and exciting!  Buckle up...this story might be a long one! Recently we found a lady named Eileen in our Areabook. We've been prayerful about how and when to contact her. Many times in the last week we've wanted to go visit her but for some reason we kept pushing it off. On Thursday night we finally decided to drop by and visit her. With a bag of chocolates in our hands we knocked on her door. A man, who was her grandson, opened the door. She came around the corner quickly and excitedly when he called for her. She was over the moon that someone had come to visit her. She's a very brittle, energetic and spunky 87 year old! We visited with her for a minute or two and then invited her to come worship with us. Wi...
