6 MONTHS?!

Hey hey ya'll! Happy late Mothers Day to all the beautiful and loving mothers in my life.♡

I don't really have much to say about this week, not much happened. Except I did drive the wrong way down a one way street. Could have killed us, but don't worry! We're still alive, and now that just adds one more exciting experience to my collection of mission memories.

This week consisted of quite a few hours in the office playing catch up because of our traveling last week! I had exchanges this week with Sister Higgins! Exchanges in FHAM don't really feel like exchanges! We got to the office and sat at our same desk and did the same thing with the same people. The only difference is the couple hours at night, which was full of laughs, lots of talking and memories made! Yesterday for Mothers day we delivered cookies to some of the windows in our area and visited with them.

6 months as a missionary! Can you believe it? Time is going wayyy too fast! I am so grateful for the many things I have learned on my mission and can't wait to continue being an instrument in the Lord's hands! I have learned so many things in my service to the Lord but for now I'll just keep it to a few. Here are 6 things I've learned these past 6 months:

♡ The Savior knows each of us perfectly and individually! I know that He would have sacrificed His life for just one of us. His love, grace, and mercy are infinite! As we draw upon the power of His Atonement we can be healed and purified.
♡ Change is necessary to grow!
♡ Be present! Life is short, constantly changing, and fast! Living in the moment allows us to enjoy the opportunities God has presented to us!
♡ It's not about me! How cool is that?! Each and everyday I can choose to look outward instead of inward as the Savior did!
♡ Heavenly Father is so extremely mindful of each of His children and places everyone and everything in our paths to help us on this path of mortality. We have a divine potential and purpose here on earth to fulfill!
♡ The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the TRUE gospel restored by the prophet Joseph Smith! As we live by the council of our prophet, seek and follow spiritual guidance, repent daily, keep covenants, and center our focus on the Savior and things of eternal value, we will see the blessings and miracles the Lord has in-store for us!

I love being a disciple of Jesus Christ and I will forever love being a disciple of Jesus Christ. As challenging as it may be I could not imagine going through life without the things I have learned and experiences I have had here in Oregon. Cheers to the next year on the Lord's errand!

I love all of you but more importantly your Savior, Jesus Christ, loves you! Keep doing great things and being great humans!

With all my love and prayers,

♡Sister Parry
