WEEK 13 Happy LOVE Day!

Happy Valentines Day to all of my favorite people!!

This week was a great week...who am I kidding I think I say that every week! It really does just get better and better the longer I am out here serving the Lord! It's crazy...this is one of the hardest things I've ever done! Yet the most tiring and absolutely rewarding things I have ever experienced! My happiness is greater than I ever thought possible!

We had Zone Conference in Eugene! Elder Cordon from the seventy came and spoke to us. It was absolutely amazing! He inspired all of us missionaries and really helped give us the spark we needed! The best part of my ENTIRE WEEK was seeing Sister Bell there! Sister Bell and I are no joke sisters...we were definitely besties in the premortal life:)!!!

I was talking to a lady at church this Sunday who really strengthened my testimony! She is an amazing women and so strong in the gospel. We got talking about missions and the opportunities we have to teach different people. She has been a memeber all her life and is spiritually SWOLE...let me tell yah.. her husband is a pastor at Methodist church in town! They have been married for many many years and have raised a family together. While their beliefs are different they make it work. She said "I love him enough to respect him. He would love it if I'd join his church and I'd love it if he joined ours but I know if we don't get him in this life, we will get him in the next". Isn't that so cool? Maybe it's just me but her faith amazes me. She continues to support and love her husband despite their beliefs...imagine if we as people could be this understanding towards one another. There would be a lot more love and peace in the world.

We have been teaching a lot of friends who are progressing very well! I am excited to see them continuing to grow closer to Jesus Christ! Watching people who don't belive in God transform and take steps in their life to find happiness through Him is a process that brings joy that I can't begin to explain!

Many of you may remember our friend Margie! She's an "avid" Christian who made her own church and wants nothing to do with the Book of Mormon! Many times she has told us to not bring it in her house and that she wants nothing to do with our church. For the last two months we have continued doing service for her and praying each day that her heart will be softened. On Tuesday before going to her house to help her paint we prayed three different times that we would be able to teach her. Right when we got there she pointed to a couch and a chair and sat us down. She wanted us to TEACH her! It was a huge answer to our prayers! The Power of prayer is real!!! EVERYTHING is in the Lord's hands and His timing.

For those of you who know me well know that I'm pretty sappy...I love LOVE. It makes me happy and I truly believe it's what makes the world go round! Loving deep is something that's true to my character. While on my mission I have been studying christlike attributes! Charity and love is always one of my favorite. I often have wondered why charity and love are paired together. I have come to the conclusion that charity is the action of love. Love without action isn't truly love. We can tell someone we love them over and over again but until we show love it doesn't mean much. This week I want to invite each of you to find a way you can put your love into action for someone. Something as simple as messaging someone or visiting them. I know that putting your love in action will help you grow closer to Jesus Christ and help someone else feel loved as well.

Moroni 7:47 "But charity is the pure love of Christ, and it endureth forever; and whoso is found possessed of it at the last day, it shall be well with him."
