WEEK ONE!!! "Shut Up With That"

Hello cute family and friends!!!

These last 10 days of being a missionary have been so amazing! I absolutely LOVE being a missionary! I have the sweetest companion (Sister Bell), I seriously adore her! I have also loved getting to know my amazing district and feel so much love when I am around them.

Yesterday I got dropped off at the Provo MTC to finish up the last 2 weeks of training! We drove under the tunnel and before I knew it I was hugging everyone goodbye. It was hard to say goodbye especially when you never see Papa Parry and Jack cry. I LOVE my family with my whole heart and I know they will be blessed while I am serving!

I got to the room and a few minutes later Sister Bell came in and we quite literally almost fell to the ground jumping on each other in excitement! We feed off of each other's energy...I couldn't ask for a better comp. Sister Bell says..."shut up with that" after everything I say to her...definitely shows her passion toward the conversation and I love it!

We had the most amazing devotional last night about the character of Christ. Listen to this and really take it in: Christ turns out in love, compassion, and service as the natural man turns in and is self absorbed, self centered and selfish. This being said, think about something bad that happened to you or a trial you went through or one you are going through right now. We naturally think "poor me" right? What if we were to think of the needs of others before ourselves. I know it may not be easy and I personally have a long way to go but the Savior is reaching out ALWAYS...NEVER in. I want to challenge all of you to look out like the savior instead of turning in like the natural man. I know you will be blessed and see yourself become more like the Savior as you do. We will become happier people as we strive to be like Him.

This morning me and my district had the opportunity to go to the temple! It was so nice to start the day off being spiritually lifted in the Lord's house.

As me and the other 3 Sisters were getting ready in our room we blew the fuse for the entire floor...apparently you can't have 2 blow dryers, a curling iron and phones charging in one room ahha!!! You live and you learn I guess!

Anyways sorry for this super unorganized email I just have so many thoughts and things to share with not a ton of time! I just hope everyone knows how loved they truly are. The SAVIOR LOVES YOU! He knows you and he hears you.

I love ya'll and I hope you all are as happy as can be and have an amazing week!!!
